Dan Knodle and Jeffrey Heininger met in 2003 by way

of a mutual friend, Curt Yamamoto, in Seattle.  The conversations continued with ideas on how best to develop the market for the product and it was not until 2009 that the two entrepreneurs actually inked an agreement to license the Twistep technology into a new model that Heininger Holdings has since offered through its PortablePET division.
