Pickup trucks are great for hauling most everything and do it better than most other vehicles. That is, until you want to haul several bikes. With enough bungee cords you can strap two bikes to the sides of your truck if you don't mind some scratches but what if you want to haul 3 or 4 bikes? That's a challenge.

Heininger has a better way. The Advantage BedRack is an easy to assemble and install solution to storing and hauling bikes in the bed of your pickup. Able to hold up to 4 bikes, the BedRack can be left in your truck bed making it easy for anyone who can roll their bikes into the bed to be able to haul them easily.

Bikes stay fully assembled and your receiver hitch remains available to be used by something else. Folding design allows for quick assembly and easy installation. Secure your bikes with the included lockable cable. One size fits both compact and full-size pick-ups. Extends from 53.5" to 63.75" without spacer. Extends from 59.5" to 69.5" with full-size spacer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have a Gap?  Am I missing a spacer?
– When using this bike rack in your full-size truck bed there can appear to be a gap in the middle section that sits nearest to the tailgate.  There is a trick to closing this gap that does not require an additional spacer.

How many bikes will it hold?
– Up to 4 bikes

What is the maximum size tire that will fit?
– This will fit tires up to 27”.  This model of BedRack does not fit 28/29” tires but our newer model BedRack Elite (Item 2030) will!

What is the maximum width of a truck bed that this will fit into?
– BedRack will extend up to 63.75” without the spacer and up to 69.5” with the full-size spacer

What is the smallest truck bed size (width) it will fit?
– 53.5"

How do I install the bike if it has a derailer?
– If installing using front wheel– nothing needs to be done
– If installing using rear tire  - We provide Foam Wheel Stabilizers with your bike rack.  These should be placed on the bike or on the rack to hold the bike/derailer in place, so it will not conflict with the down strut.

Can I use this rack on the ground?
– Yes, you can use this on the ground just as a standalone bike rack.

Can I use an Ebike with this rack?
– No, our bike racks are not suitable for Ebikes. Even if you are only putting one Ebike on a rack, we do not advise doing this
