Heininger's Advantage V-Rack bike rack is the ultimate in space savings and convenience. It's unique V-shape enables folding into an easy-to-store size when not in use while still providing structural integrity to handle up to two bikes confidently.

Since the V-shape straddles your hitch receiver channel instead of inserting into it, you can still connect your trailer or whatever to the receiver hitch.

Your V-Rack comes complete with a locking cable to secure your bikes and a storage bag to protect your bike rack when not in use.

The V-Rack 2-Bike Carrier provides stability for transporting bikes while allowing for compact storage. The locking V-Design and square steel tubing provide exceptional strength. With the V-Rack on your vehicle you can still tow a boat, trailer or RV. The V-Rack simply clamps around the stinger insert in your receiver. It comes fully assembled and can be mounted in a matter of minutes.

Disclaimer: Do NOT install any hitch mounted bicycle or cargo carrier on a trailer or other towed vehicle. Apply caution to mounting a carrier on some motorhomes with a long distance between the rear axle and the tail-end of the coach. Bike and cargo carriers will increase the overall length of the vehicle. Use greater caution when backing up.

Frequently Asked Questions

How out do the arms go behind the vehicle?
– From the point the V-Rack is clamped onto the hitch receiver tube they stick out 13”

What is the best way to load my bikes onto the V-Rack?
– We recommend placing your heaviest bike closest to your vehicle. Place your bikes facing the opposite direction for the best fit.

I don’t have a stinger tube that this will fit onto can I purchase one?
– Yes

Can I use an Ebike with this rack?
– No, our bike racks are not suitable for Ebikes. Even if you are only putting one Ebike on a rack, we do not advise doing this.

I have a 1.25” receiver, will the V-Rack work?
– You will need our riser tube in order convert, extend and raise your receiver tube for the V-Rack to work.

Would be better for smaller bikes

The rubber mounts for the bike frame were not designed for bikes like mine, with a heavy frame. So the bike doesn't seat all the way into them. The straps hold firmly, almost too firmly because getting them on an off is much harder than my previous carrier. It also is not suitable to using your bike lock to secure it to the carrier. Instead you have to use a cable lock. So it works, but I will get something different when it is time to replace it.
